Fund Star, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on fundstarinc.com. Fund Star, Inc. collects information from our users on our Web site. Fund Star, Inc. does not give your personal information to third parties not associated with our campaign products or services.
Sharing
There are instances in which we will share users' personal information: We may share information with vendors to fulfill user orders for brochures, products, shipping and other information requested by the user. Information is not shared with any vendors who do not subscribe to the same privacy statement policies as fundstarinc.com. If you are purchasing campaign products from us, once your credit card has been approved by our third-party transactional company for the amount equaling the total of the supporter's desired purchases, the third-party supplier(s) will receive all relevant purchase details (item description, quantity, etc.) needed to fulfill the order. All personal information collected during the ordering process is used solely for order processing, billing and shipping.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information
Information request form
We request information on our request information form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, address, phone, organization name and number of members in organization and reason for fundraising). If we have trouble processing the request, the information is used to contact the user. Information is used to ship fundraising material and user product purchases. We never collect information regarding social security numbers.
We use information collected on the site to forward fundraising information to those who have expressed an interest in our services and products. Information is used to assist groups and individuals schedule, run, and complete a fundraising campaign. Information is used to deliver brochures, products, and other information regarding fundraising programs.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Fundstarinc.com does not use cookies, and instead relies on short-term session variable to retain your shopping cart information.
